Quarantine Sucks & Possibility of COVID-19

Well, there's no other way to put this but a global pandemic of a new virus called COVID-19 completely sucks and the fact there's no vaccine against it makes this more nerve wracking.

To those that suffer from anxiety and depression, please reach out to someone whom you trust or a professional. Crisis Text Line can be reach for a crisis counselor if you need to speak to someone or the suicide prevention hotline can be of help to. I know a lot of people are having difficulties at this time when their own battles are ongoing and this COVID-19 is making it hard for those who need to seek mental health attention but can't at this time or they're facing the COVID-19 anxiety. This is a difficult time and I hope this passes soon or at least gets a better control since most of the vaccines won't be available or proven effective until next year. I see a lot of people who are losing hope everyday and each moment because of this virus anxiety that is having a huge effect on our lives and all I can say is, hang in there- there's always hope. The media seems to concentrate on the negative when really, we need to see the positive and reasons to live rather than the reasons to end life.

Whenever, I feel my COVID-19 anxiety or another panic attack, listen to music that gives you a good memory or feeling, or a movie that has a happy ending. Life is beautiful and we need to remember the reasons to fight for our lives and to heal from our emotional and physical scars that this viral pandemic has caused.

When I feel sick or something is not right in my body, I write it down. We need to take precautions but at the same time not try to jump to the highest conclusion, "Oh no. I'm sick, I have COVID-19/coronavirus." Here in the USA, it's more scary because we can't be tested unless we are showing red zone symptoms of: fever, difficulty breathing, coughing or tightness in chest. Unlike the rest of the world where testing is free and open to people who are feeling mild symptoms, the rest of us here are fearful that we won't make it. Stop that type of thinking. You survived yourself, you survived your negative energy when all seemed hopeless, keep fighting even if you have the virus or don't. List your symptoms, self-isolate and remember this will pass and seek medical treatment right away if you're having difficulties. Think about all the people who want to save you (Not in a religious way) the nurses, doctors and custodial staff who want to see you walk out healthy and give THEM the hope they need to see that what they're doing is not for nothing.

"What do we say to the God of Death?"
"Not today."
